Arduino Project : Build your Own Room Temperature Monitor using Arduino Uno

Robotronicdiagram. - There are many project that can build using Arduino. One of these project is build room temperature monitor using Arduino Uno. In this project we will integrate 3 main component as like Arduino Uno board, LM35 as temperature sensor, and 16x2 Hitachi compatible LCD. All of the integration look like in figure 1 below.

Component List

Circuit schematic like in figure 1 above is integration of Arduino Uno, LM35Dz, and 16x2 Hitachi compatible LCD for building room temperature monitor. From this project we will get temperature monitor in degree F and in degree C. It is also can powered with main Arduino adapter (9VDC). 

The main sensor in this project is LM35Dz. LM35DZ (TO-92 Package) is a precision integrated-circuit temperature sensor, whose output voltage is linearly proportional to the Celsius (Centigrade) temperature (Linear + 10.0 mV/°C scale factor). As it draws only 60 μA from its supply, it has very low self-heating, less than 0.1°C in still air. The LM35 is rated to operate over a −55°C to +150°C temperature range. Note : that this circuit can not measure the temperature of the whole city or province. It can only measure the temperature of the surroundings.
